Hi,

I was hoping someone could help. I'm an actor and a comedian and I'm moving to Japan next week with a working Visa good for 3 years. I'm not locked in to any English teaching school or anything and I would really like to stay in entertainment. I was wondering if anyone knew of any agencies that Americans can register with just to start out. I have a few contacts there but I'd like to find some stuff without them. Thanks I appreciate any help/advice!!

I know an agency in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo..
But Petina's questions are relevant.

Thanks guys, like I said it's a working Visa. My employer is in the software biz.

Do you mind if I ask it your employer's name is on your visa?
And do you know if they are cool about you working for another company at the same time?
(Sometimes Japanese companies can be funny about that.)
