There are an decent amount of sushi trains in sydney. But they are an decent price. Around $3.50 a plate

That's right.

Makoto Sushi Bar is apparently one of the very best sushi places in Australia.

Located right in the middle of Chatswood CBD and the price range is roughly AU$2 to AU$4.50 per plate.

Seriously nice sushi.

Of course, I haven't yet been to the country where sushi originates from, as such my opinion on sushi is worth as much as an American trying to tell a German what sausages or beer should be like.

Sushi train is such an awesome idea! I just wish OTHER restaurants here in the states did that, like my favorite fast food places.

Id say the states would have some? I know here in Dublin there is one or two places that there resturants are specifically designed to be Sushi Train Resturants (And Dublin/Ireland is much much smaller than the states ). Although quite expensive here per plate compared to other countries

Well, I've never had sushi, tbh, and the look of it kind of freaks me out, so I've been afraid to try it. Plus, there's the fact that it's raw fish...

I meant that I wish my favorite non-sushi restaurants used a conveyor belt with plates of stuff that you could just grab and then pay later. hehehe

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't worry about the fish being raw. In fact I wasn't big into fish but once I tried Sushi I grew a love for fish. Sushi in general is very rich tasting and the fish itself generally doesn't have that 'fishy' taste to it (I don't like fish like that anyway!). Sushi chefs are generally very particular about serving Sashimi/Sushi very fresh and ensuring that everything is ok

Honestly, give it a go and you will be suprised
