Hi, I'm a new member. Joined up because I'll be working in Yokohama from April on this year.
I've done some martial arts growing up and would like to train in Japan. I was wondering if anyone knows how often you are expected to go to training in a Japanese dojo? Back home in Australia people think you're amazing if you go 3 times a week, but I got the impression that the Japanese expect a lot more. Just want to be prepared and know what I'm in for. Any feedback is much appreciated.
Cheers ^^

Not unusual for high school kids to training morning and night five days a week and once each day on weekends..
3 times a week would be a minimum..
basically, if there is a session on - we should be there.

Cheers Eric, good to know. I don't think my work schedule will allow mornings, but most evenings should be fine.
