Ok,i've found out that Japanese people are into music,and alot!(My impression).I also noticed being mentioned karaoke bar as a place to hang out with friends or a date perhaps,(i dunno if theres a thread on this already),but they cant be all good singers right? or are they just culturaly really into music? and are ''idols'' there equivalent of a pop star? thank upfront !

Yeah, they LOVE their karaoke Some really good singers here.. and others not so much.. But those who are into it get LOTS of practice!
