hey hoping for some help

looked in threads but no luck

i'm 29, turning 30 in 2 months. one thing i really want to know is, can i turn 30, apply, and go on a working holiday, or do i have to be under 30 - and be 29 when applying and enter the country before turning 30? does anyone know for sure?

Best to check at the Japanese consulate..
but I seem to remember hearing that you must apply and be approved before turning 30..
