My bf and I are planning a trip to Japan, and in things I have seen it is inappropriate to show affection. Am I correct on this what is appropriate and not there in their culture. We are very affectionate and I really dont want to offend them.

what! LOL all well to me its nice since in my opinion japanese people really like to show a good respectful image of themselves, and to each of the community as if they are one and one only.
