Getting to Japan 16 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello everyone Im new here so im not sure if i should post this question here or not but here it is.

Mk well for starters I have the "I want to go to Japan" mentality that most forigners have well most of em have atleast. Ive been very interested in Japanese culture and language for the past 5 years and I have several Japanese friends and also a Japanese teacher. So heres my situation. Due to un for seen circumstancs I have moved to Australia as i am American and I hold a Permanent Residency here. Heres where the fun begins. I really want to go to Japan to live or atleast stay for an extended period of time 3 years ect in which I can choose to perm stay there. My level of Education is only High school deploma which is called HSC in Australia. Now the thing is I know that for most cases u need a bachlors to get a working visa into japan. Doing so will delay me going there for another 4 years or so which is somthing I REALLY DONT WANA DO. as ive already been waiting for quite some time. Now I am aware that I could also go there as a university student but problem is with that is that my grades arent exactly top notch they are alright but not good enough to be worthy of over seas transferstudent and the cost of doing so is out of my budget. But should it really get down to it I recon I can grit my teeth for another 4 years to get through uni.

Does anyone here know of an alternate way to enter Japan? I dont really care how I get there I just wana work a norm life there and have an apartment not looking to do anything special hahaha.

Also I am very well aware that If I become an Australian citizen then i can go to work holiday with japan for 1 year but that is an one only thing and I really dont wana get there get settled in and into a daily routine then have to leave at the end of one year. So Im here asking if anyone Knows of any way to get there? Thankyou very much for all replies.

Sorry, friend, but you are right.
You will need the degree if you don't have the money to come here as a student.
Maybe come for a 3 month holiday first, if you can, so you can get a feel for what it is really like!
