If women are trying to experience a capsule hotel, I recommend (In Tokyo) Asakusa riverside Capsule Hotel (they have a website). It was the only one I stayed in but it had a floor dedicated for women.
It was reasonable in price (3,000 yen a night) and after your first night if you continue to stay the cost reduces to 2,000 or 2,500 yen a night.
