I've seen chairs in various videos/photos for use with a kotatsu. They generally have a back for support, but no legs. I would like to purchase some, but don't even know what to ask for. Does anyone know what these are called? I'm assuming they are as common still as futon and kotatsu. Any help would be good as I'm trying to re-furnish my apartment with a tatami-like atmosphere here in Alaska, United States.

The chairs you look for are called: Zaisu
Saw them on some european stores for ?70/80
But I haven't really searched the net for it. So I suggest you try google to find some place to buy them from more closer to home.
