What is the age range for the Youth Hostels? Because in that case it's not that expensive...
And does it include breakfast/lunch or anything? Or just to sleep the night?

I'm not entirely sure on age range to be honest . If you're old enough to hold a passport and travel id say you should be fine?

Unfortunately meals arn't included so it would be just to stay the night. Many convienience stores around though so you can pick somthing up handy to eat.

Well, I had in my mind to visit Japan... I always wanted to visit Tokyo especially. Moreover, I wanted to feel what Japan is, not meaning culture, but how do Japanese live their lives.

It's alright even if the Youth Hostel not including the meals. I wanted to try the restaurants in Japan anyway.

But I do hope that I will make it on time before I will be too old for the Youth Hostel. I'm 17 currently. So if it's for up to 18, then I'm in a problem.

You're never too 'old' for youth hostels

There were people in their 60's staying in the hostels so you are fine.

I recommend checking out K's House hostel (always recommend them on the forum) as they provide cheap and good quality hostels with friendly staff.

Depends on who you are and what you will do.

Staying in hotels must mean you are rich, so you probably don't care.

I paid $350 USD for my plane ticket from America. And I spend $450 USD a month for rent, utilities, food, mobile, going out, and transportation.

A 2 week party tour could be very expensive though.
