Hi im new. So hello everyone. But i have a question. I have chronic back pain and sometimes I take narcotics for the pain. Will this be allowed in japan. The pills are prescriptions. Also when you say drugs are forbidden do you mean only recreation drugs or can I still bring and take my prescription pills?

Some prescription drugs will not be allowed.
Others are allowed if you have your prescription with you.
Ask your consulate in your country.
