The best way to help the old dude and to help the EnglishFriendlyJapan site, is to go to the directory and search businesses and then click on the links to their websites..
then they can see we found them because of EnglishFriendlyJapan.

Search the ones in "this week's recommended searches" is the easiest!

The Japan Rail pass is an EXCELLENT thing!
I can't get one now because I live here but when i first visited Japan I bought one and went EVERYWHERE with it.

Anyone coming to Japan as a "temporary visitor" should definitely get a JR pass if you want to travel around by train!
