Hello there,
i was reading those forums for some time, but i miss one thing - safety.
are there any things to know in this area?
Its becouse in the country that i live - I cant even chack messages or answer the call if i have a "flashy" cell.
if its so silent in small crimes - i could belive, but anyway there should be some places where its better to not be...

Hello and welcome

Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world so it is really safe!

Yakuza (gangsters) are in the bigger cities but are not usually into street crime.

You will be safe pretty well anywhere in Japan.

Just a couple of places like Shinjuku in Tokyo where you should be a little careful, but you will be very safe in Japan!

Enjoy your visit

Japanese thinking is very different to the thinking in many other countries.
Japanese people respect other people and are usually not selfish - so they usually don't think of committing crime of any sort.
That another reason why many of us choose to live here.
