Food Allergy 14 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 1
Hello guys, I'm new here, obviously. I've been interested in visiting and possibly building some type of career eventually in Japan in which I would live there(in high school atm). I'm extremely allergic to peanuts, and I have to carry an epi-pen with me everywhere. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with food allergies in Japan, and if it would be possible for me to get by. My Japanese isn't very good at the moment, but I'm studying away and working on numbers right now. So if anyone currently in Japan could find anything out for me that would be awesome ! Or if anyone knows anything.

Thanks !

Arigatou gozaimasu! I guess it really depends on the area. I've done a bit of research and have read about a family and they had almost no problems. That cheers me up to know it's not a dream, like many others, that have been squashed by my allergy. Example, I can't serve in the military because of it .

Samurai8, you are a legend!
Perfect answer!
Your sure have an incredible knowledge base.

I might just slip in an apology here, lest I offended you early on there.
No offense was meant.. just overly protective of our forum perhaps.
I am sorry.
