I am going to Japan soon and one of my Japanese friends is getting married.
I don't know what to get her as a wedding gift. I won't be there for the actual wedding but I want to get her something. any ideas??

That is the tradition.
Odd numbers so 30,000, 50,000, 70,000 yen etc.
30,000 is the minimum.. but it should be more for a close friend.
