I am wearing an earring left, loop, i got with finishing my training as cabinet maker (It is an tradition thing)
So i worked hard 3 years for it (ok, i did not learn to get the earring but i think you got the picture)
How are earrings on males seen in Japanese culture and i am as foreigner exotic enough to get away with it?
Leaving it away would not help much, everyone who would look more than casual my way would see the place it sits anyways.

It is very different from country to country, in the US in some places outside big cities earrings are a problem, if you travel to moslemic countries better avoid all jewellery including wedding bands as male or you are posing as a male prostitute...
So i am always asking around to be sure!
