yeah, my friend says it is easier to watch because they don't need to think...
sort of like canned laughter on western TV showing us when to laugh.. the "talent" do all the reactions so viewers don't need to!!
Why are all the guys on TV old and wierd and all the girls young and childlike?
And all the young girls hang on every word the old wierdos say and "ooh" and "ah" like it is fascinating while the old bimyo bastards preftend like they are all cool????
It is a joke!!!!!!

Just watching a documentary (of sorts!).
Why cant Japanese TV have real documentaries like the Attenborough style?
They insist on having those 8 year old style voices as narration and the little screen in the corner with people in the studio nodding intensely at everything..
This one had a stupid little puppet as the central character!!
The people in the country they were visiting looked baffled by the silliness of it!

I watch a little Japanese TV, Nihon TV, TV Tokyo, TV Asahi and such, I haven't been watching that long though, I haven't seen all of it. I watch Bleach on TV Tokyo though, very slow but, it's not too bad, TV Asahi has a Japanese Lilo and Stitch but, it is somewhat different...

I was shown an action that I was told a famous japanese comedian (male, I think) does where he pumps his fist and say "kkuuuuuuurrruuuuu". I assume he's been on TV or has a show. Can anyone tell me who he is or the show?
Sorry if this an inappropiate thread to ask this on.

When I kill time watching Japanese tv I tend look for the commerical breaks, opposed to avoiding them like I would with Enlgish language TV, expect if theres Sumo on.
