Re:Working Visa 13 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
i am going into animation and interactive 3D which involves working in the game industry. I will be learning Japanese starting this fall at uni. Would this field fit under the artist category. Although I know the main thing I will have to wait on is to see how Japan recovers from the recent events of this past week. I just wondered if its even possible or if it will be possible to get a visa in Japan for this kind of work? Thanks

Hello,

The general consensus is that a degree is required to be eligable for a working visa... But is that a requirement of the employer or immigration?

Some people are saying that if you can find a company willing to sponsor you as they're clearly satisfied with what you offer, then you can stand a good chance of being issued a visa?

I tried to call the embassy here in London and quite frankly they weren't very helpful at all.

Thanks in advance,

Mike.

People with enough experience in their field can sometimes get a visa without a degree.

Hi,everyone

I'm new here, while i was reading about this topic, and only found one answer about IT.... but it didn't answer my questions completely...

I would like to know, if i have a degree in Computer Science(currently am in 3 year) and have experience in programming, can i get a job in the IT field? or is it unlikely???
Somehow i heard about a working visa that permits to work in IT, but not sure about that...

Thanks.
