This place has the highest rollercoaster in Japan (and second in the world!) and is also an amazing waterpark!!

I keep reading that many days the bigger rides like the Steel Dragon 2000 are closed. I don't know if this is true.

from narita airport, how far is nagashima-the steel dragon? A few hours, a day, more? I plan to stay in tokyo near shibuya. Just trying to see if we can squeeze in time for this awesome ride.

2-3 hours by Shinkansen.. 12 hours by bus.
