Although you gotta admit the 挨拶 ad is kinda cute... tempted to make it my ringtone while I'm in the US. In Japan I wouldn't dare do that because as you said everyone's being driven insane by it, no need to bring that elsewhere, but int he US it just kinda reminds me of Japan while I wait for my next visa to get processed.
